Battersea Arts Centre | BTS

I was happy to photograph a behind the scenes series for Battersea Art Centre's massive group photo they had commissioned recently. The art centre had a massive fire in 2015 and the event was for a pre-opening press release and to have a new photo of everyone within the centre to showcase for the future.

Below are some of my photographs while on assignment with links to news from the event and press notes at the bottom of this post. I was also excited to have some of my photography printed in the 'South London Press' newspaper (photo below the press notes).

The photo we took on 29 June and accompanying story have been getting a lot of attention…

Our tweet has received 144 retweets, 323 likes and over 43,000 impressions (so far)!

The Guardian illustrated a feature interview with David with the photo. The feature has been shared over 1,000 times online! The Guardian’s tweet about the piece has received 60 tweets and 159 likes (and counting).

Time Out covered the photo. Their Facebook post sharing the story has received nearly 300 likes.

London Live interviewed David about the photo ( I may make a cameo appearance about halfway through…)

South London Press reported on it, with a piece that also includes quotes from Michael Bishop, Conrad Murray and Adam of Tea Films, who are set to move into the Scratch Hub (also in print, see attached).

What’s on Stage have marked today by posting a ‘10 Things You Never Knew About Battersea Arts Centre’ piece (thanks for the facts everyone!)

Wandsworth Guardian, Essential Surrey, Arts Industry and Arts Professional all reported on it too, with more pieces to come.
